What is the worst poker-related money you've ever spent?

I'd have to say the $1500 I dropped at the OG during my buddy's Bachelor party after a six hour / dozen bourbon & soda session playing $8-$16 at the Bellagio......or maybe that was the best poker-related money I've spent... I digress.

Yep, it was the first poker book I got also, and it slowly drained me of money. I tried to play only Phil's "Top Ten Hands". That was a disaster.

Got that book too (first Hold'em book I bought). Haven't even read it. Discovered 2+2 the day after I ordered it from Amazon.

zen and the art of poker is the worst poker-related investment i made (not counting losing money playing on tilt). pretty silly book, really.

(offtopic: suzuki's book is obviously one of the two books mason malmuth is talking about in the latest issue of 2+2 internet zine when he says that two of the 2+2 books has been criticized for not being as good as they should be. anyone knows which is the other one?)

I bought a book called "Poker Nation" which sucked pretty bad...

i actually thought positively fifth street was pretty interesting...
