Default monitor type for multi-tabling

What size/type monitor do people use to multi-table. I have a 19 in monitor. Is there some trick to setting up the display or do you simply just let the tables tile each other?

Right-click desktop, choose Properties, click Settings, and set resolution to 1600x1200. If that option does not exist, you either need a better monitor or a new video card.

Hi, I am using a 19" as well, but in 1600 by 1200 mode, I could table 4 at once with ease if I wanted to....

You may just need a video card that can take it, also figure out what the max refresh rate on your monitor is, it has to do with eye strain over long use.... and buy a card that supports it.

I'm at 85 Hertz and 1600 mode...

If your not an insane gamer, it's an easy under $100 purchase.

Even if gaming, I am using a card with Nvidia 5900XT chipset which is excellent and under $200 still.
[I've had it 6 months+ and the price on them actually went UP!]

Hardware has changed, there is PCI Express now available on motherboards which is faster than AGP.
[You likely don't have that, just tossing it out there]

Snag the free utility to find out what hardware you currently have at this link:

It's excellent! Very very specific details!

Get updated video drivers and see if it can handle 1600 mode without bogging down your system...

Right click on empty desktop space and then select properties, go to the settings tab and adjust screen resolution. [be sure to look up your Monitor's modes too before you try this, otherwise you could damage it and at the very least it's a pain in the neck getting it back to usable if it can't handle a mode.]

I hope that wasn't overkill and helpful! 8)
