I'm debating going for the reload bonus (30% up to $300) and clearing it playing 50+4 & 100+8 STT's. I'm used to playing on Stars and Party, not sure how pokerroom compares.
It seems like their bonus works decently for tournament players - you get 5 points for each dollar in fee, and the bonus requirement is 7x, so playing in a $100+8 is like playing in a $100+2.28. Looked at another way, I'd have to play 53 $100+8 events to clear the $300 bonus. I like playing in STT's, and do reasonably well at Stars and Party $100+9's (I'm profitable, but not a master by any means), but I can't tell whether the lower rake is enough to lure me to play at pokerroom. Any comments/analysis would be appreciated. |

If you consider $22/$33 to be "higher buy-in", then maybe i can help. There isnt much action at the $54s and $108s, especially the latter. At peak hours, its unlikely to be more than a handful of 100s going. If you're a quad tabler, and especially if you dont like to stagger starts, that bonus might take a while to clear.
I just reloaded the full $1k, and it says I have to clear 2100 points, for which i garner 5 points per dollar of vig. So, a $33 entry gives me 15pts, and quad tabling, should clear in 35 hours. For $300, basically ten bucks an hour. I like to think of it as playing with an 80% rakeback. |

Sometimes I can get two staggered 54s and two staggered 108s but it takes about 10 minutes to 20 minutes for a new 108 to fill up. And 5 to 10 for a 54.
I usually clear the bonuses on a ring game. 7 hours of 2/4 stud and I'm done. |

![]() thanks for the replies ... any thoughts on the level of play at the $54's & $108's compared to Party or Stars? |
