I think betting the flop is a must here.

However, I am often confused on what to do if it is raised behind me when I have a moderate kicker. Can I fold the flop? Should I call and fold to a turn bet if I don't improve? Call all the way down? Assume a typical party player, 30ish vpip, moderate aggression, etc.

AT is purdy easy, too.

Really? I can't imagine it makes too much difference either way. Maybe you're right, but the fact that you're out of position, and that you're not a huge favorite over any Kx, Qx, or Jx, makes me think that a call isn't too bad.

You have to show some aggression somewhere in this hand and I am sure you know this. Bet or check-raise the flop or turn for that matter. You have a solid holding let them know.
