In general, are we betting the turn here to not give a free card to a single spade? Also, would you fold to a turn raise after betting?

Our main reason for betting the turn is for value.

call that river! no matter what comes on river.
didn't you understand that he can raise you with 2pair? if you have strong reads that he can slowplay flush THAT way just check-call river but muck here is disastereous. gosh...
