One of the beauties of online poker is that you can get a game whenever you have a few minutes. I know longer sessions are better, but if you're just sitting around and have 45 minutes-1 hour to play, and you play 4 tables, that's 3-4 table hours you're logging there. The little chunks of time adds up.
Factor in that most people here are the spoiled college kid type that aren't working a regular job and are playing in between classes and it's pretty easy to see where 30-40-50 hours in a week are coming from.
