Actually happens rather frequently in Omaha (frequently considering the fact it's Quads over Quads and you have to have 2 pair on the board to have it) actually. Not sure exact odds for Omaha or for HE, though it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Just evaluate the following expression for HE and it should be right, (x y) means "x choose y":
(13 1)*(4 1)*(3 1)*(2 1)*(1 1)* (12 1)*(4 1)*(3 1)*(2 1)*(1 1)* (11 1)*(4 1)=Total # of 9 card possibilities with 2 4oaks Divide that by: (52 9) and you should have your probability! Keep in mind this is saying "what's the probability these 2 specific players both get 4oak" NOT "what's the probability ANY 2 players get 4oak" |
