24hPoker
I just got an account on 24hPoker. I didn't deposit any money yet because I'm not sure how reliable they are or how much traffic they get. I was just wondering what you guys think of them and if they are reliable or not. Thanks in advance. BTW, the reason i signed up for 24hPoker if because they have like 3 freerolls a day with like 20 people each. Sounds pretty easy to win money for free. From what I see, their player traffic isn't too high, but it's better than WSEX it seems. Thanks again.

Re: 24hPoker
i have been playing the PL game there.
mostly europeans, so alot of PL.. the traffic on the site increases daily. the software is a bit weird at first, but grows on you immediately. i thoroughly trust this site! great management, and friendly players. give it a go. |

Re: 24hPoker
I'd have to agree that they seem like a trustworthy site, at least from my limited experience with them. Bought in, cashed out my entire BR without any problems or delays.

Re: 24hPoker
i can't imagine a "new" site causing cashout difficulties - it would be absolutely pointless to start up, get a few customers, then rip off those few customers straight away
new starts are probably the best to go with for a while as their service and promotions should be the best - one particular new site kept giving me $10 or so "for inconvenience" because i was reporting all the glitches as i came across them if the site starts to grow steadily, great - if it doesn't - make sure you only keep a short bankroll there - and get that out too as soon as any serious rumours start - it's hard for a new site to bounce back after the bad vibes set in |

Re: 24hPoker
it's a term usually used in no limit poker - say, if you bet all-in pre-flop and get one caller, you "double through" if you win
see http://www.math.sfu.ca/~alspach/mag65/ for an interesting failure to double through but, |

Re: 24hPoker
I played at 24h back in september when they first opened. I ran the free $25 up to about a hundred. But no one was playing there at the times that I usually play (midnight). At the time , I had no bankroll so I cashed out so I could play somewhere that has a game going at midnight. I was really upset about the $10 cashout fee which is highway robbery and the reason that many players stay away from them.
They have now set it up so that if you play so many hands you can cashout without getting the $10 screw over. I wish I could get my $10 back. |

Re: 24hPoker
They have eight handed tables which is unusual, and their tournaments have rapid formats. Good variety of games there though.
BTW in my experience the freerolls have between 40-100 entrants, usually 20 or less for buy in events. Simon Diamond |
