Default The famous talked about hand - SSH Pg 271 #7.

When the flop hit I immediately thought of that famous talked about hand in SSH (the Ac4c hand). After replaying the hand I realized it was not exactly the same. I did not have the button to reraise for a free card play. What would you have done.
Tell me what you guys think.

Doesn't look all that different.

No chance of freecard. I'd just call.

being out of position really kills the reason for the SSH 3-bet.

i think this one is down to call or fold. i think the pot is a bit smaller and there are less donators, so i'd probably fold.

I realized after reviewing it that I made one of those "human errors" due to one being slightly tired, multi-tabling, and having GameTime up where it cluttered my screen causing me to misread where the button was on the table. All those factors caused me to make an error. Even though the error was made, at the time I was thinking buying an Ace out, back door flush, and gut shot - along with the free card play which in error due to position. Heres what ended up happening.

Hero 3-bets, UTG+2 calls, MP3 folds.

Turn: (8.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 2d Ad (straight, five high).
UTG+2 has Kc Kh (one pair, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 12.25 BB.

It ended up causing MP3 to fold. If the 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] did not come on the turn and I check it - think UTG-2 would check it behind in fear of a check raise again?

If you just called on the flop, you could trap Villain(s) on the turn for at least one more bet.
