Default Should I play 5/1 or 10/1 tourneys?

I'm pretty new (playing for 4 months), and looking to gain experience and confidence. On the face of it, 5/1 tourneys look like a bad deal, but if they are significantly softer than 10/1, maybe that's my best route.

Any input would be appreciated.

Kinda depends on your roll. But the 10/1 are better because of the less vig you pay per tourney.

I'd start with the $5s as training. You won't be playing them to make a lot of money however. Once you have shown a consistant level of profit, then go for the $11s.
Most people claim the skill difference between the $5s and $10s is similar, but I disagree, as my students have always have much more trouble at the $10s than the $5s.
