Default What is a Half Kill game?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong location, but I am traveling to Vegas next month and notice a lot of the card rooms offer half kill low limit games. Playing only at Foxwoods I have no idea what this is. Can anyone fill me in on these type of games and if the half kill is rewarding to playing them? Thanks

A half kill is a game where the betting limits go up by 1.5 when a player wins two pots in a row.

If your playing 2-4, a player wins two pots, your now playing 3-6 for the next hand. A full kill the odds double. For future ref, questions like these go in the beginners forum.

It's a game where certain hands will have a 1.5 times the normal structure. In other words, a 6/12 becomes a 9/18 for a hand and usually the person who won the last pot posts a $9 live bet. Some casinos do this after the pot reaches a certain size...typically 10 BB...for the next hand. Others (like Mandalay Bay I believe) do it when the same person wins two pots in a row.
