I did. I was just wondering if this action seems really out of line, even for the Party 15. Obviously I see some crazy [censored] in that game, but this one just seemed beyond the regular silliness.

Are you saying "they" did a 3 BB bluff in the hope of pushing you off the best hand? You would have better convinced me by just saying they were both from Sydney and not even shown this hand.

I think the button is just a LAG idiot. I also would not have folded the turn. do you think that guy cold called with a 2? a bigger pocket pair? 77, 33, A2, or K2s are realistically the only hands you're beaten by. his play really fits the description of a donk

He actually cold 3-cold with 10-2 offsuit a little later on.

Played a big pot on a Q T X board and lost (what a shock).

After seeing the guy play for a while, I wouldn't have folded, but both of these guys were unknowns, and not closing the action on the turn made this a fold for me.

FWIW I would've capped. if I got raised on the river I might have to fold. I also would've 3-bet preflop, but your flop check raise accomplishes the same thing. 88 in a big pot sucks out of position, but it's a good hand nonetheless.

You see morons do stuff like this with picked up flush draws on the turn all the time. A pair and a flush draw seems even more likely. That said, you were in a tough spot on the turn, but I would never have considered this to be collusion especially after seeing the villain play T2o later on in the session.
