Set O' 10's - How badly did I chicken out on this river?

The only hand that could play this way and that beats me is QQ or maybe AK/AJ spades. Am I seeing monsters?

I think you played it fine. I would tend to put him more on AT spades than QQ. And I would have checked the river with that spade coming.

if you only bet when you have the nuts, you wont make anywhere near as much money as you could otherwise. also when you move up in limits and your opponents become more observant, you wont make any money at all. not betting this river is a crime.

I don't post a whole lot, but I think so. And that's post-flop only AF

I'm pretty sure that AQ could also be played this way. Now way in hell is he on QQ in this spot...
