account closed after tourney deal on party???

Just tried one of those $1000 buy-in 2 tables on party for the first time. Got very good cards, got down to heads up and made a deal with other guy. Wasn't sure what the policy was, just figured i would dump rest of chips to him, and then he could transfer me $2000. ($4000 difference between 1st and 2nd) Well someone mentioned in chat you can only transfer $600 now, and the tourney closed before we arranged something else.
Anyway, wasn't too worried, figured he would email support, but I just tried logging back in to see if the tranfer went through and got a pop-up saying my account has been closed!!!
Hope this isn't a big deal, if anyone cam enlighten me as to whats going on that would be super. (ie are deals not allowed? is account getting closed a big deal? etc)

He didn't dump REAL MONEY chips. It was a tournament. When it got to heads up he just let the other guy win. The guy was then to transfer the player money.

You get your account banned for chip dumping when it's real money chips because it is not traceable and money laundering would be a problem. Not really sure how you can launder tournament chips.

As noted earlier, why the hell would you trust someone to transfer that much money to you? Insanely idiotic, but maybe you guys had some collusion going or something.

seriously, i haven't heard back from party. Can't get into my account. If i was slightly clever i could figure out how to get into hand histories so i could post the chat at the end of the tourney. It was just ONE ON ONE, just two players left and we agreed to split prize pool. Have done it a bunch of times on pokerstars in the past and never had a problem (sometimes with the host there, sometimes just emailing support.) Anyway, thx for the input- i knew this was the place to come for some serious answers to my dilemna [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
