Ok - So it\'s a stupid bad beat - but have you had worse?
We'll call it a challenge - who can beat this bad beat?
Board: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hand 1: 99.2929 % { 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] } Hand 2: 00.7071 % { K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] } The odd thing his - He three bet this flop - then caught running tens to beat me. Sarge[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

i saw this happen to a friend in a live game...
guy 1: kx spades guy 2: 99 no spades flop: q42 all spades the money went in on the flop (it was a nl game) turn: 9 river: 2

OK, I get capped preflop with my pocket jacks,
Jack high flop and I get capped again, turn is a three and capped again, river three, capped, lose my nut boat to the guy now capping with the true nuts, quad threes.

I had AQ Flop A-Q-2 r I Get the guy all in for $130 He turns over A-6o I lost On a related note I lost with quad queens 3 days ago, first time I ever lost with quads

It'll happen eventually, though...probably on a day where I'll already have been running REALLY REALLY bad. The worst beat I've had for awhile was a couple of nights ago at $100NL. I've got 99 on the button and it was folded around to me, so I raise $5, the BB raises $5, SB folds, I call. Flop is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], giving me the boat. BB bets $11, I re-raise $22, BB calls. Turn is a 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB bets $11, I go all in for about $50 more, BB immediately calls. River is an A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB flips over A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for his boat. You'd figure that when I re-raised and then went all in he'd have put me on at least trip 8's. When I went all-in after the turn he had to put me on a straight, a boat, or a flush (or a straight flush!). I'd played my previous hands *overly* conservatively to that point so there was no reason for him to suspect a bluff. The fact that neither of his aces was a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] made his play even more bewildering. He was just one of those players that plays AA to showdown no matter what the board looks like. He's on my buddy list now...so I'll get my $$$ back soon enough. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

i flopped a straight flush one time and a guy ran to quads
crazy thing is..he didn't cap the river vs me.

The only time I've had cards (or anything in a casino) thrown at me, similar play to Death Valley's. I had A8h, the villian had AA's, he's a loose player, had been pushing me around all day, so I made a stand in the BB. Flop came nothing, I check called, turn came 8, check called, river comes trips, I check raise, he calls, I get cards thrown at me after a few explatives were yelled out at the turning up of my hand.
