Default Chip count for tourney and cash

I know this has been discussed countless times, I have read most of those post, so please bear with me. I want to confirm that I have the right chip denominations to cover both cash games and 10-12 man tourneys.
Tourney: 10-12 players 1000-5000k/player, sometimes there are re-buys.
Cash:10 players 1/2 NLHE and PLO $200-300 max buy-in with multiple rebuys in the game.
Egyptian chipco group buy:
$1 250
$5 250
$25 100
$100 100
$500 100
$1000 50
$5000 10

I am fairly certain I have more than enough chips for tourney, its the cash game where I might come up short! What do you guys think?

this is the same quandary I had when I ordered my chips...

I think you need more low denom chips for the cash game as 3 rebuys will put you into rebuying with the $100 chips... but what do I know

I found the best way to do it was build the tourney around where you needed the most chips for your cash game.

Since the chips your geting are already labeled for cash, have you thought about changing the tourney blind structure to coincide with what you need for your cash game?

It was a little easier for me since we play .25/.50 NLHE so I needed a lot of .25 and $1 chips, which works perfectly as 25 and 100 chips in the tourney, and we don't need to change the blinds.

Looks like a good minimun for cash games as I'd think you would give...<ul type="square">[*]20 x $1's[*]16 x $5's[*]4-8 $25's
If you were playing limit though I think you'd be making change alot.

My concern is with tourneys in that you only have enough for 8 x $25's for each player with 12 people... just seems like you would have to make change alot from players and the pot. What starting blinds were you planning on using (e.g. 5/10 or 25/25)?

Looks like you're going to compromise in any case with 7 denoms so you might have it right.

I think another 250 chips should fill in any gaps; 50/5, 100/25, and 100/100. Might be overkill for 1 table though!

With chips like those it probably won't be 1 table for long You could always give it a run thru and fill in gaps accordingly.

OT - just curious if you know a Chriropractor named Forrest... he has a practice up in your neck of the woods.

Probably good advise on the chips. As for the Chiro the only one I know is King.
