I think the most telling thing is that you made this post with these stats on THIS forum and obviously didn't feel you were going to get flamed out of your mind for it.

Oh and since Sarge expressed concern, that is just my money saved to pay taxes on my winnings for this year. I have other savings accounts to live off of and save for the future in case anything happens.

Umm, the only "stats" I posted are what I've made over the last month and a week ($5.5k I think, too lazy too look) which I don't think is bad... and my PT stats from a new 20k hand database, which mean absolutely nothing as it is only 20k hands.

The reason I made the post is I had told some people I would at a month into this thing and I had been getting a few messages about not posting to my blog enough and people asking how it was going.

The title says Professional and Career....

Get off the semantics rant. Don't read into his wording but what he actually has to say. For now, it IS a profession and his career. Its his chosen livelihood. Its his occupation. Its how he makes money. It fits the definition of his career. Nothing says he can't change his career in a year or two when he graduates college.

You guys have completely robbed this guy of his thread. He asked for suggestions about his poker playing. He didn't ask about whether or not he should play poker for a living or not while he's in college. Hell, I've seen NO mention of his plans for after college (I didn't read his going pro post, however).

Get off your crackpipe and pedestal jackass.

Do you see anyone else here making posts titled - "My part time play after 1 month" that are 6 paragraphs long with such detail?

I should have known what I'd get myself into I'll still probably do my April check-in though.

To Microbob: Yeah I've had PT+Playerview on this computer for the last 21,000 hands. It's been very helpful.

Awesome man! Glad my assumptions about your intentions were right when I was backing you up. You do have everything straight and in order as I figured. Good luck to you, and I'd be very interested in having more detailed correspondence with you as I am also a dedicated college student looking for a way to make money to get me through college. Do you have msn or aim or anything? Thanks and goodluck!
