Well, they don't currently speak Latin in latin america either.


I'm not exactly the most worldly person out there...my understanding of the cultural universe is actually pretty pathetic.

But some of this sillyness is truly mind-boggling.




Let me help you....my Peruvian GF and her family refer to themselves as Latino. I'm assuming that means others of Spanish heritage in Peru do also thinks of themselves as Latino also (by Spanish heritage I mean that I'm not including the Inca or other indigenous folk or Asian immigrants there)


I doubt there is a single Italian person out there who considers himself 'Latino' unless he is of Spanish heritage somehow.
