I grew-up in RDU. How dare you try to gamble in the bible belt! Everybody knows God does not play at dice.

I think for anything but a table, you'll be happier buying online. When I've found local gambling or gaming stores, they've been pretty overpriced, even with shipping. 5StarDeal does well, especially when you've got the 25% discount.

Ha ha Well, a lot of us Yankees have moved down here to corrupt your youth and violate your women!

Actually, I just read that a businessman in Durham is suing the District Attorney to allow him to run a legal card room. We'll see how far that goes.

Also, check out World Tavern Poker. You will see that poker is alive and well in the Bible Belt!

My parents live in Raleigh, and I am currently in Eastern NC.

Everything I have as far as poker supplies goes, I bought on the internet. I looked around locally but didnt find anything well priced.
The internet is often cheaper for nearly anything you ever want to buy.

The only things I bought in the Raleigh area were supplies to build my table.
I went to Mill Outlet on Capital Blvd (~3/4-1mi North of 540) to get my table cloth and felt. (both in the back of the store. Fabric on the very back wall towards the middle)

I went to Joanns Fabrics on Wake Forest Rd near about a mile north of 440 beltline to get my rail vinal (they had a very nice texture vinal that was more similar to leather.. not shiney or rough)

And thats about it.

I went there too... run by a bunch of old German broads who, if you don't look like you know what you're doing, will give you the stink-eye the whole time you're there.

On the other hand... they have tons of matierial. I bought some 60"-wide headliner there, but I couldn't find any suitable material (66" or wider) for my top.

There are some things you can find locally, but the prices are always rape. Your best deal is 5stardeal.com, i agree. Walmart is good for a tabletop fabric. You looking to have some games? I live in GSO and we have a game once a week, always looking for new blood
