Default Standard?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop: (10.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds.

Turn: (7.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, UTG folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (13.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 13.25 BB

Seems pretty standard, but should I have bet the river? I feared c/r :O

FWIW - I don't bet the river here, what hand do you beat that calls? What hand are you ahead of that folds after 3 betting the turn?

Put the results in a different post, otherwise commentary about how I think he's got QJ looks foolish when they read the whole thing .

is he a typical LP? gotta provide your reads. don't include the results.

PF/flop are fine.
turn raise is bad if you couldn't fold to the 3-bet. call down or fold.

so will you be good 2 in 11 times? usually not without a read. he bet into 3 opponents at the time. that's a protected pot.

If BB is "typical" (i.e. unknown or no history of being tricky), I probably fold to his turn bet here. I doubt he's bluffing out of position into 3 opponents including a pre-flop raiser.

Given that you raised the turn (which is better than calling since it's HU now, but probably not as good as folding), I fold to the 3-bet.

Check behind on the river is excellent. You cannot possibly expect to be called by a hand you beat.

Also, do not include results in your post next time.

Opponent was typical LP. That's why I was considering folding.

I don't see anything standard about it.

I think calling the initial bet is iffy. Calling the 3-bet seems to be spewing.

Fold the turn. He's not bluffing into 3 people. He has at least a J or Q here the vast, vast majority of the time.

Err, that's not the definition of a protected pot. I would fold the turn.

Fold after the RR? Or fold to the bet?
