bubble trouble
Looking for any and all criticisms of preflop and flop play. I have to say, villain was pretty loose passive throughout this SNG, so I think I've answered my own question about the flop--I should have laid this down after he uncharacteristically showed aggression, right? The problem is it wouldn't have left me with much to work with...

Re: bubble trouble
You can't raise to 1000 here. It's push or nothing. As you realized, raising to 1000 commits you to the pot anyway -- you have 863 left and you will have to post 300 on the very next hand.
Having played it as you did, I don't see laying it down. Call and hope he doesn't have 2 pair or better -- if he has an A and a better kicker but not a K you'll have outs to a split beyond your 3 outs to win. |

Re: bubble trouble
If you've read this forum before, you know the answer already.
Push pre-flop. |
