Default Aces hand

I feel like I should have folded the turn, but I called it down anyway. I had no read on villain.

Should I have checked the turn through and called a river bet? I'm thinking now that this would have been the optimal strategy.

I'd call him down. I'd do it because of my investment so far, to get a better read on him for future hands, and because check-raising the river to push someone off a draw or medium pair here is something I do and it works against your average player. (the evidence for this claim is anecdotal since I'm not using PT yet)

My newbie opinion.

The pot is way too big to play weak here without a very good read on the villian. Yes, you may be drawing to two outs... but villian could easily be playing any pocket pair here, his flush draw, or maybe just taking a stab at the pot.
