i have been sending the same email 2-3 times a month for 2 years. i certainly was not responsible for us getting it, but i was told after my initial call to the local comcast office that the channel line-up is based on customer demand and that i should write a letter.

i made a reminder in my appontment book and just kept sending it over and over. i got a form letter the first 8 or 10 times that thanked me for my suggestion and said it would be taken under consideration. they must have black listed my email addy because i stopped getting responses pretty quickly.

harass them until they succumb or at least until you stop getting responses.

freakin lost his january open-challenge thing (a friendly bet to see who gets the most raked-hands) so the guy who beat him got to puck his avatar for the next month and made him use some pic of Osama Bin laden I guess.

Matty has since banned freakin...supposedly for this avatar although no explanation was given.


Everybody over there is talking about whether an osama avatar is deserving of a warning or a banning or whatever.

Michael Davis has an avatar of Charles Manson but evidently has not generated very many complaints since he hasn't been banned.

I offer no opinion on whether he should be banned, warned, asked to remove it or just the whole OIC gang given a warning, etc.

Great idea! Could one of you please post the right e-mail address to send this to? I had no luck searching Comcast's forums or help stuff (granted I may be clueless about where to look). I've been pissed I don't get Travel channel but do get 98 informercial stations for quite a while.
