Welcome. Invest in some tranquilizer medication for hands like this. Play looks pretty good. I probably would have raised the river, but that may be too LAGGY

Why not?

Hero has an overpair. Shouldn't he try to protect it? He's likely ahead here.

True, but hero is dodging more than half of the deck with two cards to come, since there are undoubtedly some overcards out there, plus a str8 draw.

3 other players are already committing to the turn, your raise possibly shuts out two players but there are just way too many turn cards that you don't want to see that I want to see the turn cheaply.
