Default An idea

Big companies have management or team meetings to direct their future. Government also has a cabinet of advisors for the president and commitees for Congress.

The reason for this is that studies have shown that groups working as a team make better decisions than individuals.

This idea came to me when I recently read about a group that was making huge bank.

Here is a rough draft of what I propose:

-Create a group or club where memborship is reviewed. Could be something as simple as a Yahoo Group.

-Agree on a figure head or director for organizing tasks and schedules (Not me)

-A task, for example, would be researching a statistics for edges.

-More than one person will research any specific statistic. This insures a broader and more accurate picture.

-Members will give picks with expected %.

-Picks are tracked by member AND categorized by %

-Picks are discussed with full disclosure. All angles and reasoning are put on the table, no trade secrets. This will give much more specific discussion and as example if someone gives the statistical edge they we researched someone may site a contradictory statistic. Public forums will never get this in depth.

-As time goes on based on stats members can be identified to have areas of expertise. If they display a strength in this area it may make sense to have specialists. (Specialization is a proven success!)

Remember this is a rough draft. Things can be added, changed, or deleted. When the group forms we would need to define many things.

There would be a little work, especially innitially, but in the name of PROFIT I think it would be worth it.

So lets discuss if there is enough interest to create a club here on 2+2. If there is then we can create the club and discuss the direction of the club at our own site.

I also like the idea.. only matter a of time before ideas like this get kicked around on a forum like this.

I think regardless of profit gain, this can be a very valuable tool for those who take our bets a little more seriously to learn and grow.. becoming stronger cappers.

Obviously the main ingredient here is having the right people in the group. Experienced, dedicated, focused, and positive attitude cappers are what you need for this to run smoothly I think.

I would be interested in this idea

The more I think on this the more I see that there really are no negatives unless you believe that your capping/research abilities are superior to a group of cappers.

PM me if you are interested in starting the group with me. Once I get 4 interested I will open a Yahoo (or other suggested) group so we can communicate. I will need your e-mail address to send invite.

I think if we can get some of the well respected cappers from this site interested, its worth getting the ball rolling..

I am fairly new to the sports betting world (few months).. not sure how many good cappers would want me around.. although I am dedicated and motivated to succeed.

I will think about it if we can have a secret password. I always wanted to be part of a club that had a password.

lol.

Our research and work wouldn't be available to the public so in some form or other you would get your secret password.

What about a secret handshake? And why not make this info available to 2+2 at least? Is there any good reason to keep it 'secret'? (You could keep the methods secret of course) but why not post your picks with an explination like plenty of people are doing here?

I'm not very good at handicapping, but take picks from here that I like, and it's working out alright for me. I don't take all of the picks, but I take some. AND I DON'T WANT YOU TAKING MY GOD DAMN PICKS FROM ME YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!

[-clears throat] ... like I was saying, any reason not to post picks?

(Though I'm not very good, I would be interested in getting in on this and trying to contribute)

I'd definitely be interested in helping out. I'm new to sports betting (only been at it for a few months), but would be willing to do some of the grunt work.

A good idea might be to have some of the newer guys like myself take responsibility for different conferences for the college sports and report back to the group the weaker lines and the like.
