Default Re: 6 max. downswings

When I 1st started playing at Party Poker in June, I went down $600 over the month, I left Party and went to Paradise and did ok, but returned to Party in late september, I also purchased Poker Tracker around the same time. I am now up $2100 playing $25NL 6 max and have not had a notable downswing at that level. How ever, I have lost $700 playing $5-$10, $2-4 & $1-2 Limit and two hundred more playing at $100 NL 6 max tables.

Id like to improve my limit game but my bank roll suffers when I try to play it so Im starting to think the hell with it.

When I think back to losing that $600 in june, I now feel that I would go on tilt after a bad beat and play eratically, the biggest difference I have noticed in my game recently besides more patience and discipline is the ability to play effectively after taking a tough beat.

Staying off tilt online is essential in avoiding down swings imho.
