Default Party $2/$4 QJs in SB

Main question: Is a semi-bluff good/bad/OK in this spot?

Typically loose 10-handed Party $2/$4 Bad Beat Jackpot table.
My read on villain is loose/passive.
Hero is SB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 5 folds, button calls, Hero completes, BB raises, all call. (5 players, 10 small bets)

Flop 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, BB bets, all call (including hero). (15 small bets)

Turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks, BB bets, all others fold, Hero...

A passive player raised out of the big blind and is now betting into you. What do you think he is holding that he will fold here (getting 10-1)? Are you planning to bet again on the river if he just calls here? What are the chances you'll get 3-bet?

In short, I do not think this is a good spot for a semi-bluff.

This doesn't really answer your question, but I raise preflop and definitely raise the flop for value.

he's passive and betting into you. he has some piece of the board. He's loose, he's not folding to a check-raise. Bad spot to semi-bluff. You won't make a living trying to get loose players to lay down their hands.

And raise the flop. You have 4 guaranteed SBs that you will want in there when your flush card comes and freezes everyone up

I'll third that; the raising the flop part especially. Not raising here is a big mistake (like over 1/4 of a small bet in expectation).
