Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
30 hands on the table. BB is 23% VP$, 20% PFR(!) CO is 93% flops seen 5% PFR Before reading twoplustwo i would've probably folded preflop and then folded the turn, but since we know we don't fold here in small stake when the pot is big... why not raise? Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. If you're going to continue on this flop, you should raise for sure. Make overcards pay more, even though they can still profitably call (but they might put you on a 7 and fold). If you think you have the best hand on the turn, you should value bet the river as well.

Bet the river. The T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] doesn't change anything, if BB had a bigger FH, he would've 3-bet you on the turn. Build the side-pot in case you are losing to UTG.

but if i raised the flop i would've built the pot enough for people with overcards to call profitably on the turn. the only way i could get people to fold was to raise on the turn.

if i bet the river and was raised, based on the size of the pot i would've had to call right?
the problem was, i didn't want to call a river checkraise. i probably would've had a heart attack and then partypoker would've auto-folded me. |

No way he doesn't 3-bet a hand that beats you on the turn. Don't live in fear of checkraises when you have a big hand. Sometimes you get raised and vomit in your mouth...costing you extra 1BB. Most of the time he calls with a worse hand and you gain 1BB. Reread the river section of SSHE...value bets are your friend. |

I would still fold this PF, sure CO plays 93% of his hands, but he only raises 5%.
