Slow down on the river?
UTG has gotten pretty LAG cuz she's on a rush, but she's a chump. BB just sat down, but seems pretty TAGish.
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks. Pretty standard. Flop: (5 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB bets, UTG raises, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB caps, UTG calls, Hero calls. What do you think he's holding? I figured he might have a solid Q, like KQ or AQ, or maybe 33. He could also have a flush draw and figures he might as well cap it. Turn: (8.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, UTG calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, UTG calls, Hero caps, BB calls, UTG calls. Now the flush draw seems a little less likely. I'm really figuring 33 or AQ, though he'd be overplaying his hand from the flop on in my opinion. River: (20.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, UTG folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls. Final Pot: 28.50 BB Ugh.. could he really have AQ? Should I just call the reraise, or will my hand be good enough of the time to justfiy capping? results in white: Hero -[ 4s 4h ] BB - [ Ac Qh ] |

Re: Slow down on the river?
Given a TAGish opponent read, and so much action on every street calling on the river after the 3-bet here isn't a bad idea. He seems to have kept improving his hand and the other player stuck in between just adds to this case.
