Party Poker $25 NL (6 Max)-
Im UTG with $35, Villan 1 is in SB with $27, and Villan 2 is UTG +1 with $5 Im dealt AcKs and call the .50, Villan2 min raises, called around back to me I reraise to $5 trying to put my self heads up with the Short Stack... Villan 2 does call all in, action is the folded around to Villan1 who calls the $5 in the SB. Flop comes Q-8-3 with two cubs Villan1 checks, I bet $7 into $17 pot ( My thinking is to try to make it look like a value bet, I still have $23 left in my stack so the $7 does not commit me to the pot in case of a reraise. Villan1 Calls the $7 Turn comes a non-club 5 He Checks, I check behind River brings a non-club 8 which pairs the board Villan bets out $5 My action is.... Also any comments of my actions on the flop and turn would be welcome. Thanks. |

if you are going to bet the flop, at least bet 10 or whatever you would bet had you held overpair in that situation.
on the river, decide whether $5 is too much to pay for info. |

Also, you might want to give preflop allin reraise a thought.

overplaying AK is a bad bad thing. I've done it quite a few times and it makes me sad.

I'm just saying if you don't put them on AA/KK and plan on reraising, might as well preflop reraise all in because anything less and they will call with a pocket pair giving you no folding equity.

Don't bluff a dry side pot. Even in a cash game it makes no sense. What are you going to do if villain1 folds? YOu still lose to Villain2's pocket pair and don't make anything off of villain1. And as you said, you are going to have to fold to a raise from Villain1, so just try to draw cheaply to an A or K on the turn or river. If villain 1 has a pair, he is not folding and if he doesn't, he is not betting so just check.
