Default NBA 2/8

YTD (posted) 49-34-2

1. Orlando/GS under 202:

I've said it 100 times lately. Orlando's defense is improved. Folks look at the recent games, see those big numbers in the back-to-backs against Washington, the Boston game, and the Cleveland game, and automatically think big number. But both Washington games were unders. And Boston ... well not exactly the Knicks of the mid-80s. Golden State is not a point scoring machine, and the absence of Troy Murphy doesn't help. I like GS in the low-mid 90s and Orlando around 100-105. It will be close, but I think it's an under. 105-95 gets it done.

2 and 3: Phoenix - 2 1/2 (@ SAC) and over 226

You know the drill. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the highest scoring games of the year. And I think PHX is head and shoulders above SAC. A lot of quick shots in this game, a lot of 3s, PHX hits a lot more of them than Sacramento. 135-125 Phoenix.

Good luck everyone.

I looked hard at that one and decided that it's not enough points. Can't assume Boston will win on the road, which is pretty much what they have to do to cover. They are not that good. Milwaukee might put up points against Boston's spotty defense. Not saying it won't happen ... just saying I'd rather put my money somewhere else.

I'm in on the Orlando/GS under 202. As mentioned, it seems like the Orlando defense is getting little consideration. My take is that the numbers put up by GS ag. Miami were a little flukey.

I like GS at +10.5, orlando just doesn't have the capability to blow them away by more than this. Besides, Jason Richardson is a man on a mission and will singlehandedly keep this game close.
