Default Outplayed or Correct Play?

Local NL tournament of 35 people, down to last 12, 6 at this table. Hero is short stacked ~3300 (chips), villain is chip leader at the table ~10000, bettor is ~900. Blinds are 300/600 and going up.

sb posts $300
bb posts $600
utg goes all-in $900
hero (KT[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) calls $900
co folds
button folds
sb folds
bb calls $300

pot is $3000
flop comes 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
utg is all-in
hero bets $1200
bb raises hero all-in $2400
utg is all-in
hero.... folds

bb/villain turns over KT[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
utg turns over 64[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

A bit tougher to say in a tournament, but you are definetely getting odds on this call, calling $1200 into a $6600+ pot.
