Default Need help with a rulling

$25 SNG. 3 players left. 2 get paid. Button folds. SB raises. BB calls. The dealer puts the flop out. The he does not realize that they have chips left so he burns and turns. What should be done? The guy that ran the game decided to just nullify the hand. This seems wrong to me.
Thanks for any help.

I believe the dealer should shuffle the turn and river cards back into the deck and then play as normal.

Kill the hand. Dealer buys beer for the next 3 tournaments.

Yep, the burn card for the turn should remain, but the turn and if it happened, the burn card for the river and river card should be shuffled back in the deck. Allow players to act, then place the turn (as burn was already burned), then allow players to act, burn and river.

Boy, is this the most fun rule to enforce Only had to do it twice, but it was a mess both times.

Had a big BI (for us) SNG this weekend. I couldn't play because I had to work early, but I agreed to help the hostess get the tournament running because she was going to play in it.

It's raised and called before the flop, but the button thinks everyone folded and she just wants to rabbit out the board. We stoped her before she deals the river but the turn is already out. Everyone else wants to just skip the flop round of betting but I tell them that's not the rule. A good friend of mine winds up losing all her chips to a runner-runner straight and hasn't spoken to me since, saying the rule is BS and that I should have just kept my mouth shut.

Good times.

Tell him to read this forum or go read the rules at homepokertourney.com

Also, you're example is a good reason why rabbit hunting shouldn't be allowed either.
