you can do all these with GT+ - you just open up another instance of GT+ and select any player named at that table and all the stats come up..

Off topic, but could someone explain in very simple terms how to download and install PV?

You can either go to their site http://www.playerview.net and review their tutorial, or I also gave a condensed version of the setup in this post Playerview Setup

It's not to detailed but it at least points you in the right direction. Maybe later, I'll take more time and write something better.

After you do get it installed and mod party or whatever skin you are playing on, you will find that it makes table selection so much easier. Hope you get it setup

This has already been covered. it's still *much* simpler to observe tables using Playerview. Just open the table and the stats pop up. No faffing around.

PV supports multiple databases at the same time (i.e. your stats database and a datamining database). I'm pretty sure GT+ does not.

GT+ does support multiple DBs

I'm not trying to rag on GT+, but once you get PV setup it's much better and easier to use.

1) PV automatically displays the stats without you having to do anything, even with observed tables you're not sitting at.

2) PV is much more configurable. It lets you put any stats anywhere you want and lets you select colors for specific ranges of stats (like setting PFR > 8 = red)

3) PV doesn't lag your system as much

4) PV displays the stats in the correct position; it doesn't screw up the stats of female players in Party skins and cause you to constnatly reposition icons

5) PV has accurate table stats (people like to call them non-weighted stats which I don't think is correct use of the term) that actually show you the average player VP$IP, etc.

I currently have GT+. Can you tell me if PV imports the Poker Tracker auto rate icons with the stats? GT+ does and it's a great quick glance reference. Thanks.

Have used both and PV is 100x better in my opinion. More info on the screen and easier to use.

Does Playerview have the same difficulties with PokerRoom that Gametime has?

I think PV only works at Party and Party skins...
