Tunica has a history and has an established gambling enviroment with actual entertainment, and most importantly they have Jack Binion and his name to attract people

They aren't just spreading 4 8, they are spreading 10 20, 20 40, 1 2 NL, 2 5 NL, 10 20 hilo split, 1-5 stud, and are in the process of opening up their "high limit" room.

They don't have a big poker room, one with a lot of history and tradition (see old binions las vegas), or operate in a town with lots of other casinos that has a numbe rof poker players and is a destination resort (see the plaza). Its just unlikely they would host a large (10K) buy-in poker event.

Hmmm, I guess Foxwoods is in a huge town with a bunch of other casinos and is an awesome place to visit.

Yes, I understand that they have one of the biggest and nicest casinos in the world, but they are in almost the same situation as Tulsa as far as location and history and surroundings go.

All I am saying is that if they say they are going to have a WPT event, then there is no reason to doubt them. They are one of the first rooms in Oklahoma to start running Poker, and they have Harrah's management behind them helping them run things.
