One small note:

The hideaway has supposedly closed it's doors for good as of about a week ago.

Hadn't heard that. Not surprising, since it's a major sh**hole. Still, its the first North End place I ever played. Sign of the times I guess.

I would be willing to bet there are a few pros there on the weekend nights. If not, they sure shop at the 'Ho Sto' with them. I have seen some major league tramps wandering past the poker room. God bless them every one =P

You do understand this isn't exactly the upper class part of town. Or surrounding towns, for that matter.

But you may be right.

With my luck there'd be a guy in the bathroom instead of the girl.

Someone made a post when this happened -- they had $20,000 in bad-beat money they had to give away on their last day, so they ran ONE $10-20 table and gave $500 to the high hand every 15 minutes. There was a wait list a mile long. One guy walked out with like $6,000.

Lately the games have died out there. Even on a Friday or Saturday night, quite often they will only have one table going

[/ QUOTE ]

When this occurs, there is usually some place close by that is getting more of the action for the area.

Any clue where this might be?
