just stumbled upon this....

http://www.hypermicro.com/product.asp?pf_id=MTDE016

seems to be the standard discount people here have been getting, but I don't think you need any coupons or rebates or anything for this one.. just thought i'd pass it along.

How did you get to this site? The monitor does not show up if you try to navigate through from the main page. It does not work to search the SKU# or the name "2001fp." Seems extremely shady.

Apparantly they are taking orders. When I first went they had 9 in stock, now it says 3. I would want to know what kind of RMA policy they have for dead pixels before I bought from a reseller like this. Their warranty page doesn't specifically mention anything about LCD's so who knows what would happen if it showed up with 10 dead pixels... Might be a gamble... Taking orders... or stealing CC numbers of people who try to buy from this page which doesn't exist on their real site?

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, maybe you're right but I don't see a scammer lowering the quantity as people gave him credit card numbers. In any case I emailed them about their warranty policy on this LCD in particular so if they respond with, "we don't sell that" I'll let you know.

Dang it ... Dell charges sales tax for VA. Add $29.10 tax and $33.00 for 3-5 day delivery (cheapest option) ---> $611.10 total.

I just pulled up the Dell site and their still running the free shipping. In the cart, it gives you a $33 credit.

Home office site gives you 20% off and free shipping

Business site gives you $200 off and no free shipping.

I am waiting for a stackable coupon that dell is known to give out. Then i'll buy it.

Do you have to "do" anything different to use the Small Business portion of Dell's web site? I just checked Dell's Home section and they're selling the same monitor for $599 vs. the $549 through Small Business.

I think you just have to enter your "business" name.

the only differnce is they ask for business name, just enter your first and last name again. I just ordered a computer from Dell SB and everything went fine. Trust me, I am nowhere near being a small business
