Pre-Flop Hand Rankings
Hi. I was just wondering what you guys thought of this pre-flop hand ranking for a typical Party Poker (5/10) 6-player game. Any glaring errors? These are the top 62 hands (I believe).
72 AA 71 KK 70 QQ 69 JJ 68 AKs 67 AK 66 TT 65 AQs 64 AQ 62 AJs 61 KQs 60 AJ 59 KQ 58 99 57 88 56 KJs 55 KJ 54 ATs 53 77 52 AT 51 QJs 50 KTs 49 QJ 48 KT 47 ATo 46 A9s 45 66 44 A9 43 A8s 42 A7s 41 A8 40 QTs 39 A7 38 JTs 37 A6s 36 QT 35 JT 34 55 33 44 32 33 31 A6 30 22 29 A5s 28 A5 27 A4s 26 A4 25 A3s 24 A3 23 A2s 21 A2 20 K9s 19 K9 18 Q9s 17 Q9 16 J9s 16 T9s 15 J9 14 T9 13 98s 12 98 11 78s 10 78 |

Re: Pre-Flop Hand Rankings
Looks basically OK to me, although it depends.....
You may or may not have seen the earlier 6-max hand charts , which are probably more helpful. |

Re: Pre-Flop Hand Rankings
How did you make this list? Maybe it's not easy (or not that relevant) but there are a whole load of strange or just plain wrong things here.
Here are a few that jump out at me: KJo is way overvalued. How can you place it ahead of ATs A6s you have 9 places ahead of A5s. These two hands should not be so far apart and A5s is the slightly better hand KTo you have placed ahead of a whole load of better hands You think 87o is a stronger hand than K8s You are way overestimating the strength of Ace rag offsuit For no particular reason here are my top 20 hands in order of profitablity from 70K hands of 10-20 6 max. It is clear that this is far from being a big enough sample 1 AA 2.85 (it was at 3.3 not long ago!) 2 KK 2.24 3 JJ 1.60 4 QQ 1.35 5 ATs 1.11 6 AQs 1.08 7 AK 0.86 8 KTs 0.82 9 TT 0.81 10 KQs 0.73 11 A9s 0.70 12 QJs 0.69 13 88 0.69 14 AQ 0.54 15 AKs 0.53 16 AJs 0.50 17 A8s 0.48 18 AT 0.45 19 A4s 0.45 20 JTs 0.40 then 99, K7s, QJ etc etc |
