Poker room at the Wynn Las Vegas - any rumors?

Is there gonna be one? Are they gonna try to best the Bellagio? Anyone heard anything exciting?

yes they are going to have like a 30 table room. and it seems like their plan is to compete with the bellagio as the poker room power especially in the high stakes area. They are off to a great start by signing Daniel Negreanu as their poker ambassader (he will play cash games exclusively at Wynn resorts) you can read more about that on his website www.fullcontactpoker.com

One of the dealers at Caesar's In has an audition to deal poker at Wynn's. He said it was going to be a very nice room and cater to the high stakes player.

An ocean's 11 dealer will be moving to the new Wynn place as a shift manager or something. She mentioned the 30 tables and that they'd probably need to start a poker school on site to get new recruits up to speed. She seems enthusiastic about the place but she might be considered a biased judge.

I called the Wynn employment center. Their official response is that they are not taking break in dealers. 2-3 years minimum experience is required just to deal there.
