No clue what I\'m doing here - AJo overcard hand
Villain is a LAG (65/25/2), I have no clue what to do heads up with overcard(s), especially on a board like this. This is a major leak in my game. I absolutely butchered this, what's my line here?

Re: No clue what I\'m doing here - AJo overcard hand
In my experience, when a player 3-bets preflop and then checks behind on the flop, 90% of the time it means they flopped a good-monster hand and it is their way of slowplaying. The other 10% of the time they have something like 66-99 and high cards came and they are looking to get to showdown. But generally the players that do this get to showdown thing are not LAGs and only do this multi-way.
Having said this, I would check/fold the turn, happy to have seen a free turn card. EDIT: The way you played it I would have bet into him on the river and called a raise if I even made it to the river (which I wouldn't have). |
