I only play a sites that have support for hand histories that can be read off the local harddrive by Poker Tracker. Unfortunatly this currently means only Party and its affilates.

I HIGHLY reccomend contacting Pat from Poker Tracker to see what can be done.

Crypto hand histories are also read from the local harddrive.

PT can easily import from the Pokerroom DB stored on the local hard drive.

Crypto hand histories are also read from the local harddrive.

Default Do only Party/Skins integrate with pokertracker ?

"Unfortunatly this currently means only Party and its affilates."

Is this accurate ? Only Party/Empire et cetera have pokertracker support currently ?

If so, do the "won't play without it" players play only there ?

(Thank you for the feedback, I will have to have the technical side look at the issue AND please be aware, any change like this, if we do it, will come after our current push to use/allow for decimals, i.e. chips smaller than $1.00.)

You are mis-reading it TPCEO.
He said 'ability to read it off the hard-drive' which he erroneously thought was party-only. Actually crypto and pokerroom also implement the HH's on the hard-drive.

PTracker also works with other sites that don't just put the HH's on the hard-drive...you have to receive them via e-mail.
Sites such as Stars and UB and Absolute have HH's that they'll e-mail you and you can plug them into p-tracker. it just takes more effort.

When each individual hand is just put on your hard-drive like party does you just click a button and p-tracker reads each individual hand pretty much as it comes in and you automatically have real-time and constantly updated stats on all your opponents.

PTracker support is a DEFINITE consideration for me to play on a site as well.
UB HH's are harder to import to ptracker than party. If they changed this I bet I would actually play there every once in awhile.

Also - I've heard about (and seen a screen-shot in the mag-ad I think...or maybe a TV commercial) the various animations of the players at your site and how realistic looking it all is, etc.
I haven't been to your site so I don't know what it looks like or if there is an option to turn off the avatars or animation and just 'play the cards'. If there were no such option to turn off the avatars I can virtually guarantee I would never play there I don't know if I am in the extreme minority about this or not. Just something I thought I'd mention with regard to your site.

I think I can safely say though that if/when I decide to play at your site that your consistent presence and professionalism in this forum over the past several months would be a big reason why.

MicroBob,

I’m not sure if you’re aware of this.

The same person who programmed GameTime+ also wrote a program that auto-formats HH’s into a text file that is stored on your hard drive. You then use the auto-import (party version) on PT (pointed to the correct folder of course) and wa-la you now have almost real time updates. If you use GameTime+ you can play UB with an overlay program.

The only minor problem is that the UB Hand History window auto-opens every time a hand is finished on a table. But…UB only allows 3 tables open at once so I just arrange my three tables and then in the open space that normally would hold a fourth table I just stack the 3 UB hand history windows on top of each other and that’s it.

Off topic:
People talk about how fast Party’s software is? UB’s software is amazingly fast. I normally 4 table at Party but I am still having trouble 3 tabling at UB because it so fast. I recently switch to 6 max and I’m sure this has something to do with it but it is indeed faster.
