So I'm thinking about whoring Absolute...

i cleared the $210 last week. you have to pick a game that has an average pot around $8-9 or else it will take forever. they don't count a hand as raked unless the (called) pot becomes $5. plus, being able to only play 3 tables adds to the time to clear the bonus.

i hated the table look, i hated only being able to play 3 tables, i hated that there were so few games to choose from...i had to play 3/6 because there was only 1 or 2 no limit games. i also disliked having to request hand histories for import to PT and PlayerView doesn't work on there.

...but these were some of the worst players i've played against. i doubled my $600 deposit in 19 hours of play, so that plus the $210 bonus made it about $42/hr. not bad for a $600 deposit.

if i ever don't have other bonuses to clear, then it seems like absolute always has a reload bonus going. that plus the players makes it a good back-up.

It took me 19 hours playing 3 tables to clear the $210 sign-up bonus! If you only play .50/1 it will take even longer. It was rare to find a 3 1/2 tables at the same time. The players there seemed mostly tight-passive. If the pots aren't regularly hitting $5, which happened a lot, get out of the room. Overall, it was a positive experience, but I probably wont whore there unless I can get 3 2/4 tables (pot has to hit $10) running. They need more players.

Absolute Poker was the bonus giving whoore of the past year. Now they don't give out bonuses like they used to. They expire in 60 days; yes you have to clear the whole thing or you get nothing; nat many games here, but the games are soft.

You don't see a whole lot on BW because we have been there and gone somewhere else.

it seems like they changed things because they gave the bonus in $10 increments when i cleared it last week. $10/100 raked hands.

The text on their website and in some of the emails is somewhat vague (along the lines of 'expires if not accessed'). I emailed their support and asked and they said that any unearned portion of the bonus expires 60 days after the deposit was made.

That said, I spent a lot of time on Absolute last week finally going to work on the $310 in bonuses I had ($210 deposit and $100 reload) and I cleared $140 before my 60 days expired. The next day (and even still a week later) the other $170 is still listed on my cashier page.

So maybe earning a $10 chunk does reset the 60 day clock or maybe they're just confused or maybe ...
