Default Lag, rocks, styles, beginners question

I see a lot of you have several descriptions for the different styles of play you like to bring to the table as well as your opponents styles of play. I have no idea what LAG means could someone explain it? I have heard of smart lag, dumb lag, strong lag, weak lag, what does this mean?
What are the other styles of play you encounter? Are there any other names or terms I should know about?

LAG or LAP is loose aggressive.

TAG is tight aggressive.

Rock means very tight player.

I have not heard strong lag weak lag.

Smart lag refers to somebody who sees a lot of flops and is loose preflop but is able to manipulate bet sizes and play position very well and makes good postflop choices.

Dumb lags are just people who overvalue hands and are loose preflop and postflop and bluff inopportunly.

As to main styles, there are pretty much only 4.

loose aggressive.

tight aggressive.

loose passive.

tight passive.

aggressive and passive refers to a players propensity to bet/raise versus his propensity to check/call.

loose/tight is pretty self explanatory.
