KK- good?

I was happy with how I played this. I wanted to make sure my hand reading/play was alright. Villain was a 31/21/1.5

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 2 folds, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls, SB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG folds, SB calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

River: (12 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

SB's river bet is alarming but I fail to see what else you can do here.

What would you do if he 3-bet the river?

I probably would have juste called, but I'm not sure this is right. What flush could he have?

I cant think of any hand that would beat you at this point excpet maybe AA but that doesnt make sense b7c he would have probably 3-bet the river, the only flush that makes sense here is KJs but no way someone is going to cap that pre flop, so yes I think you played it fine and cant see how you lost that hand.

I think your kings are good here. As has been said, all you lose to is KJdiamonds and AA, but he picked some weird lines for those hands. I believe it's more likely he's got AK/AQ/KQ. nice raise on the river.
