DREW GETS LUCKY WITH POKER FILM



DREW BARRYMORE is set to show off her poker face in a new gambling movie.

The CHARLIE'S ANGELS star will play a struggling singer who finds she has got what it takes to become a poker-playing champion in LUCKY YOU.

The new film will team Barrymore up with a new big screen love interest, THE HULK's ERIC BANA, according to trade paper HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

Barrymore is an underrated actress. Most people are too wrapped up in the image, especially since she tends to star in romantic comedies.

Lucky You was put on the back burner 2 years ago as Curtis Hansons next project after 8 mile. They scratched this movie and now i guess with the poker boom its back on. Originally given this role to Brittney Murphy who might have been a better choice quality wise for film but Drew will sell more tickets.
