Top pair small kicker
I've never been sure what line to take on these hands.
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (7 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 4 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks. Turn: (3 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB folds, Hero calls. I've been questioning my play a lot recently. |

Re: Top pair small kicker
I tend to lead out on top pair small kicker from the blinds at that level, for value. Sometimes I'll check the flop, and raise a lead in from late position or fold to a bet from early. After that, if I'm in, I'll fold to a turn raise. I'll probably check the river.
