It only works if your monitor is capable of a high resolution. Right click the screen, go Properties, Settings, and slide the screen resolution to 1600x1200, hit apply. That'll fit 4 tables with no overlap. for 8 tables you'll have to set up an additional monitor.

If you ask bisonbison really nicely he might tell you how to layout 8 tables on a single 1600x1200 screen (with overlap).

My monitor only goes as high as 1280 x 1024, but that's enough for me.

There's a little overlap between 4 tables, but not enough to bother me.

Same here, I play 4 on my laptop. The overlap does not bother me. Obviously I would prefer no overlap... but you have to make do.

You don't NEED to have 2 monitors to 4-8 tables, it just makes things easier. If you only have a single monitor, just place 4 windows in each of your corners, allowing for the least amount of overlap (on whatever your maximum resolution is). Then, imagine you have another rectangle about 25% smaller than your monitor in the center of it, and place 4 more tables in that rectangles corners. None of your playing buttons will overlap, so you won't misclick because of it. Also, if you are playing on a Party skin, windows usually pop themselves up when it is your turn to act. Otherwise, you will see your taskbar blinking telling you which tables you have to act on.
