If you can't handle getting beat when you seem to be getting the best of it, then maybe gambling is not for you?

To the "doing something wrong crowd". In my first (and last) short 35 minute session after this post I had the following:

-Lost to Quads (4s) with a straight

-Had a boat lose to a higher boat

-Preflop raised KK, got one caller who ended up having JJ and hit his set

All that in half an hour, those were the only 3 hands I was involved in. "Bad" play on my part, I don't think so. Bad luck, yeah. I'm starting to work with some veterans, be interested to see what they say.

If you could just let us know what it is you want us to tell you that would really help us out in giving you the answer that you want to hear.

From a logic standpoint:

Poker=Gambling
Gambling=Fun
Therefore Poker must = Fun

If you are not having fun playing poker, refrain.
If you are having fun playing poker, consider losing money an entertainment expense.

At least that's what helps me endure some beats.

Not having PT is a sin. If you had it, we could ask you to post your stats and probably pick out some things for you to work on.

This post conclusively establishes that you are a winning player. Congrtatulations on that.

If there is nothing wrong with your play, why are you working with "veterans"? If it's simply bad luck, suck it up and ride it out. It happens.
