Re: BB special - aggro the turn and river or just check/call?
Flop: fine, bet to build pot with no PFR.
Turn: Bet/call. You just lost some of your K outs. Picked you A & 9 outs, but not enough to 3-bet HU. River: 3-bet and call the cap. AK will be raised PF 90% of time by all 0.5/1 player. |

Re: BB special - aggro the turn and river or just check/call?
PF: good
Flop: good Turn: check-call. you have zero fold equity here. you don't mind a check-through. MP1 may fold to your bet. MP2 may raise your bet. you don't have the odds to pump this. river: bet-3bet. this guy didn't limp PF and then raise the flop with AK. |

Re: BB special - aggro the turn and river or just check/call?
Darn... I now agree my turn and river plays were wrong
There is no point of 3 betting the turn HU I agree. However, is a check/call more optimal or a bet/call raise more optimal? As someone mentioned previously a bet/call raise could give me the option of a check raise at the river. I should have 3 bet the river for sure since I'm only losing to AK (unlikely). I think my flop play was ok and disagree w/ Argus because if I 3 bet, I'm less likely to keep MP1 along who would face 2 cold. I'll try to see what Villains post flop aggression is when I get home and check PT. Thanks again! |

I think my flop play was ok and disagree w/ Argus because if I 3 bet, I'm less likely to keep MP1 along who would face 2 cold. [/ QUOTE ] You don't want MP1 in. If you push him out it increases your chance of winning. At this point in the hand MP2 could just as easily be on a flush draw that you may beat if a king falls, but the flush doesn't. Letting MP1 draw out to beat your weak hand when MP1 busts is sad, and so I raise here. |
