Default my play: Not so good. His play: Incomprehensible (lo-content)

Still dabbling at 15/30 (mostly just as a form of therapy to take my mind off other problems. yes, i know the dangers in this.) First hand at the table, and i was loading gt and doing some other stuff, so im not happy about how i played it either.

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP1 raises, 5 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.66 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.33 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks.

River: (5.33 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 folds.

Final Pot: 5.33 BB
Main Pot: 5.33 BB, returned to Hero.

Results in white below:
My opponent folded. Im a wiener
Outcome: Hero wins 5.33 BB.

Never knew my screenname was so imposing.

peace

hijack.....i had a guy bet into me on the flop and turn (i had position) while i was calling with a baby flush draw. he then proceeded to muck the river and it wasnt a timeout.

everything that can happen will at some point.

This has happened to me too. It was last week at either 3/6 or 5/10. I'll have to see if I can find it.

It just goes to show: You can't win the big money if you aren't willing to have a little egg on your face along the way.

These guys are all embarrassed for their crap holdings after playing an aggressive PF and flop. Folding for nothing saves face, but it loses money, guaranteed.

Yeah, I had to tell Chris to stop doing it if we ended up HU in a pot cause it smells like collusion.

Why do you reraise a flop that you didn't hit? Villian 3 bet PF so that means AA-TT, AK if he is playing correctly. Why do you 3-bet? Are the players there really that bad?

I dont have a lot of experience at the level, but ive heard there are a lot of people with not a lot of common sense. This guy had been fairly lag/ Of course, im still not entirely happy with how i played it.

As an example

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (8 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, Button bets, SB calls, Hero raises, MP1 folds, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds.

River: (9 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Final Pot: 11 BB
Main Pot: 11 BB, between Button and Hero. > Pot won by Hero (11 BB).

Results in white below:
Hero has Qd Ac (two pair, aces and sixes).
Button has Kh Jh (one pair, sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 11 BB.
